Tokyo Fiancée

Based on a novel of Amélie Nothomb, the movie tells the story of a 20-year old Belgian woman (Amélie), who moves to Tokyo to reconnect with the Japanese culture after leaving the country at the age of 5. When Amélie offers French language tutoring services through a bulletin board, she meets a young Japanese man (Rinri), who starts taking language lessons with her. In return he helps her to learn about the Japanese culture. Despite their different personalities and cultural backgrounds, the two start a romance.
